There had been previous rumors that Nas and his Wife singer Kelis were expecting, and on friday, the rapper was very excited to confirm that the two are indeed expecting a baby boy. This will be the couples first child together, the two have been married since January 8, 2005. The rapper announced this is his first son, he has a 13 year old daughter named Destiny from a previous relationship.

Ciara’s 3rd CD “Fantasy Ride” was Originally expected last year, but was pushed back. The Cd will now arrive on April 7.

There has been several leaked tracks from “Fantasy Ride”, including “High Price” with Ludacris, Echo, Don’t Remember and Work. They released a buzz single “Go Girl” with T-Pain on September 30 2008. The single “Go Girl” Peaked at#78 on US Billboard HOT 100 and #26 U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Many of the leaks may be tracks that have not made the final cut for the CD. Suge Knight was assaulted by singer Akon’s associate at the W Hotel in Scottsdale AZ, at an NBA All-star after party.
Arrested were Robert L. Carnes Jr. and with Thomas Leon Anderson Jr.

Carnes and Anderson face charges of assault and disorderly conduct. Upon arrest, Carnes identified himself to officers as the business manger of Akon. The former Death Row CEO, Suge Knight was transported to SHC-Osborn hospital after the assault and is being treated for facial injuries According to police, as six to eight guests left the VIP section, Carnes twice punched the victim, Marion “Suge” Knight, in the head. A fight erupted and police said they had to use a taser to subdue individuals in the crowd.

The legal troubles continue for Rapper Lil’ Wayne who is reportedly being sued for $1.3 million by a New York concert promoter after he failed to appear at a concert for a third consecutive time. The plaintiff claims the “Lollipop” singer has cancelled three times over the past four months.

The Grammy-winning rapper was due to perform in Rochester, New York originally on October 26, 2008, which was pulled. Two subsequent rearranged dates – the last one being January 21, 2009 – also could not be materialized as planned.  Read more...

Tameka Raymond the wife of R&B superstar Usher left Brazil Wednesday February 18th, a day after being discharged from a São Paulo hospital where she spent the past 11 days recovering from a heart attack that occurred during a liposuction operation gone way wrong.

Raymond, 38, made her way through São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport, chatting on her cell phone and seemingly in a good mood despite her health scare.

Instead of a routine nip/tuck, Raymond suffered cardiac arrest while she was being put under general anesthesia. Doctors managed to revive her, and she was placed in an induced coma for 24 hours to avoid “unnecessary complications.” After being stabilized, Raymond was transferred to another hospital to convalesce.  Read more...

TMZ.com has posted photos of the POP/R&B singer that were taken right after the alleged assault that occured pre-grammy night. The “Umbrella” Singer reappeared on Thursday night heading to the LA Airport, her publicist also released the following statement

“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”  Read more...
