R&B singer Chris Brown has to appear in a LA court today, in connection to the alleged pre grammy assault on his girlfriend singer Rihanna. The DA just received the full case from L.A.P.D on March 4th, and have not announced whether additional charges will be filed against the singer, who is currently charged with felony criminal threat, but experts have indicated that domestic battery charges can also be filed, even if the alleged victim is no longer willing to testify against Chris Brown.  Read more...

Rapper Young Buck has been forced to shut down production of his “David Brown Clothing” collection.

Not even a year after it was put on the market, Buck’s signature line has been forced to shut down. There has been no official statement yet on why the clothing line was shut down, but aside from the recession possible reasons could have been lack of interest and/or overpriced clothing. In this recession many businesses have been unable to meet their bottom line.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper T.I. was scheduled to speak to a Brooklyn middle school, in his MTV ‘Road to Redemption’ show but has been univited. A Brooklyn principal is said to have approved a plan to have the children of her middle school enlightened by someone who has chosen the wrong paths in the past and warns against the dangers and negative outcome that path may lead to for a MTV production. Although the show focuses on righting the path of trouble youths, the Chancellor Joel Klein canceled the event after pressure from the anti rap community and the New York Daily News who questioned its propriety and spoke out against the TI visit, referring to it as glorifying a gun toting, drug dealing, violent individual.  Read more...

According to TMZ.com the other woman who sent the now infamous 3-page text to singer Chris Brown on the night of the alleged attack on his girlfriend Rihanna is none other than Chris Brown’s Manager Tina Davis. There had been rumors swirling for quite some time that Chris had a ongoing romance with his older manager now Davis age 40 back when the singer was just 16 years old, but his camp denied those rumors and dismissed it as purely gossip.

His camp released this following statement in December 2007 “Chris Brown and his manager, Tina Davis, have a strictly professional relationship. Ms. Davis has been instrumental in helping Chris achieve success as a multi-talented singer/dancer/actor. Rumors that the relationship goes beyond a working one, are not only patently false; they diminish her efforts and his undeniable talents.”  Read more...
