Singer Jennifer Hudson performed at BET Honors, to honor her idol Whitney Houston. Ms Hudson the true vocalist that she is, sounded amazing.

Jennifer Hudson is in this month’s people magazine with her newborn son, David Otunga Jr. She and her fiance welcomed David Jr, in August. She has talked expressed the joy of motherhood. “I love being nurturing and caring because I love to see other people happy,” Hudson tells the magazine about her new role. “Who better to devote my time to than my own child?” In the issue, Hudson never addresses the tragic murder of her mom, brother and nephew last year, but instead talks about her baby boy. “I’ve never seen a baby eat like he does!” she said, adding that she loves to sing him lullabies to get him to stop crying. “He can be crying at the top of his lungs and just turn off like a switch.”  Read more...

Singer Jennifer Hudson will be filming a Christmas special for ABC. The special is named “Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas”. In the special, Hudson revisits her hometown of Chicago, including the small neighborhood church where she honed her performance skills. There, she’ll showcase musical performances of Christmas classics and also visit with family and friends.

The singer suffered tragedy last October, when her Mother, Brother and Nephew were found murdered. Hudson, isn’t letting this tragedy ruin her childhood memories of Chicago. Also the singer gave birth to her first child (son) in August and is in engaged to David Otunga (Punked) from Vh1 reality show “I Love NY” .
I personally can’t wait to hear her rendition of the Christmas Classics, her vocals are amazing.
